Much loved Kiwi rock act Weta- who had several radio hits in 2000 including Calling On and Got the Ju - have reformed for two November tour dates.
The band, fronted by Aaron Tokona, brokeup shortly after releasing their debut album,Geographica.
Their Wikipedia situation says the band stock split because Tokona "stopped believing that I was doing what I really treasured to do".
But in a web log posted on Stuff.co.nz in July, Weta's drummer Clinton den Heyer hinted the isthmus were considering making a comeback for summer.
"Who knows - peradventure we could get the opportunity to drop a second difficult album and have everyone slate it," den Heyer said.
It continues a trend for Kiwi acts to reform recently, following Supergroove, Garageland and the Headless Chickens.
Wetaplay Auckland's Galatoson November 20 and Wellington's San Francisco Bath Houseon November 21.
